Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
One baby was strapped on my back, while one crawled inside the playground. I worked 12 hour days for months sanding and removing wallpaper, while carrying one kid. Ha! We were getting close to completing, however it was still a long distance to go. For furnishing the space it would take a lot of effort with regards to both time and funds. Also, I had to do my favourite shopping. My three sons and me were looking for the hidden treasures going to estate sales in order to help keep my spending under control. Our routine was of walking around garage sales and auctions on the weekend, and buy a variety of old pieces and new made. I'd spend my workdays at the end of the driveway, either painting or sanding. My love for furniture repair began when I saw a style like this. When our home was finished, I didn't want to quit! I also had a booth at the market, where I would sell objects. In the end, I was stuffed with too numerous pieces of furniture to fit into the room available. I started having open houses in my home where over 1 000 people would come through in the span of a weekend. They could purchase whatever they saw on the first floor. Growing Days was founded in my own home. Growing Days wasn't just a thriving business but also my sweet family. I was balancing the demands of having starting a new venture while also being a mommy. Growing Days seemed like the ideal combination. Nora my 4th child was born in the year 2013. I adored where my business was heading but I needed some time off. I decided to put off doing work on my furniture for a while and stay home with the kids. It was just what I needed. In the course of a few months, the phone began to ring. They wanted assistance with interior decorating and home renovations. These people had mostly been to my home during open houses to purchase furniture. The time flew by before I had a fully-fledged home renovation company. I began by taking clients one by one in a manner that I felt confident in. If you had told me that my business would be the basis for a DIY Network show, I might have thought you were crazy. As I reflect on the situation and think about it, I laugh.
